Most autofill has two outcomes: filled, or empty. This has three, and the middle one is the whole point.

Left blankIt wasn't sure enough to guess. Click the field and it shows you its closest matches.

A blank costs you five seconds. A wrong licence number gets the permit kicked back and costs you a week. So when it isn't sure, you find out - instead of finding out later.

How it works

A spreadsheet or QuickBooks. It matches columns by meaning, not by exact spelling, so you don't have to rename anything.

It never submits anythingThere's no setting that makes it. It fills the fields and stops. You file it yourself.

It won't fill everythingWhere it has no data for a field, it leaves it and hands you the value to copy.

Some portal controls reject itAddress lookups especially. It tells you which fields it skipped rather than pretending.

Scanned PDFs aren't supported yetIf a PDF is a photo of a form with no text layer, there's nothing to read.

PDFs saved on your computer don't work yetOpen the permit from the town's site instead. That path works.
